Adopt a photoshoot

Between 1945 and 1973 Riccardo Carbone and his collaborators made about 24 thousand photographic services, almost all for the pages of the newspaper Il Mattino di Napoli. They range from news to sports, from politics to customs: streets, buildings, ordinary people, famous people, great events and everyday stories.

Our goal is to digitize all the negatives and put the images online to share this collective memory, but the work is really hard! We need the help of all of you, which is why we launched the “Adopt a Photoshoot” campaign. Leafing through the catalog, in fact, you will find both already digitized services, of which you will be able to see the images, and photographic services still to be digitized.

With a contribution of € 50, you will be able to choose your service, we will digitize it and put it online with your name and we will reward you with the printing in 20×30 or 25×25 format of one of the scanned photos.
